Fermata has no analytics and no tracking. Here is what it stores and what it talks to.
What Fermata collects
Nothing. There are no analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs and no accounts. Fermata doesn’t send usage data to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your Mac
- Passwords, tokens and API keys live only in the macOS Keychain. They are never logged, written to the database or saved in preferences.
- Library metadata is stored in a local SQLite database so you can browse offline.
- Cached and downloaded tracks stay in Fermata’s folder until you clear them.
- Logs strip credentials from URLs before anything is written.
What Fermata connects to
Only the services you add or switch on:
- Your Jellyfin, Navidrome, OpenSubsonic or Subsonic servers, and the radio streams you add.
- Last.fm and ListenBrainz, if you turn on scrobbling. Last.fm uses your own API key.
- LRCLIB for lyrics, if you turn it on.
Integrations are off until you enable them, and each one can be switched per source and per station.

This site uses no cookies and no analytics. Fonts and images are served from the site itself.
